Turn on the backlighting: Press Power button.
Switch to another program: Hold the Alt key and press the Escape button. Continue to hold the Alt key and select a program. Release the Alt key to switch to that program.
Exit a screen or dialog box: Press the Escape button.
Insert a period: Press the Space key twice. The next letter is capitalized.
Insert the at sign (@) and periods in an Email field: Press the Space key.
Type an accent or special character: Hold the letter key and roll the trackball/trackwheel.
Capitalize a letter: Hold the letter key until the capitalized letter appears.
Move the cursor in a different direction: The Alt key and roll the trackball/trackwheel.
Change an option field: Hold the Alt key. Click a value.
Move to an item in a list or menu: Press the first letter of the item.
Select a check box: Press the Space key. To clear the check box, press the Space key again.
Select a line of text: Press the Shift key and roll the trackball/trackwheel.
Move down a screen: Press the Space key.
Move up a screen: Press the Shift key + the Space key.

I would add: Assign application switcher to a convenience key you like (i use the left side convenience key for app switcher) it’s more easy that way, than holding two different keys for that function of the phone

It is more simple, by the way I’m looking some tips how to transfer phone book from other phone such as nokia to blackberry phone book? Any one could help me on it instead of to re type all the number again ?

try sending contacts via bluetooth. That’s how i got it when i passed from motorola Z6 to bb 8100, i had to send the contacts via bluetooth from the bb to the motorola, because I swapped phones. There are a large number of cellphones that have the option of sending contact list or address book via bluetooth. You should look into that for any results

Ha…ha…, i’m getting to complicated, I thought that I need to save the file into .csv and convert to BB by an application. let me try to see whether my nokia has an option to ransfer it via bluetooth.

but hey, i noticed in the BB Desktop Manager an option called Device Switch Wizard. There is an option to “Change from another device to a blackberry device”. Have a look into that, maybe you can do it that way easier. (I never tried it, but i guess it should work)
