So i bring with me a new theme. If you guys remember, before the BB drama with T-Mobile, I had made HKBasic. Well this is a “neutral” non pink version of it. So obviously, I’d name it Back2Basics (Christina Aguilera reference anyone??) It’s rare the time when i find something worthy of copying but my dear friend Marsha made a theme with this sort of blue, so with her full on consent and permission I decided to use it for this version. [thank you to her for the meters as well]
It’s 4 NON-customizable icons: SMS/MMS Messages Calendar BBM. No these will not change. When you highlight an icon, the “word” will appear instead of the icon. From the fourth icon, you scroll up to reach your weather. There are two version of this, one is a yellow highlight version, but alot of peoples eyes were having trouble so i made a non-yellow (NY) version as well. — I tried to go with a different funky font, but nothing that was practically illegible. I think that’s it. Screenshots speak for themselves instead of me rambling on and on.Pink girly girl version coming up soon! [after the post, Battery EX screenshots like promised to a certain people].
AGAIN, E-Mail me for a one time download code with the following info:
*Version IE. Yellow, NY
no info = no code. If my guidelines don’t please you, Plazmic is a free software.
FYI: It’s not an “elemination” process. I just like to KNOW how many people download and WHO. Since for my last non-code theme i had 687 downloads and 7 comments.. It’s free people, feedback is appreciated. So i don’t really care who you are, I give out the code to anyone with a proper email and name. [ if you have nothing to hide then there's no big deal about an extra step to DL.. unless sometime ago you got mouth diarrhea and my name was the only thing you could wipe with]
Thank you to those who’ve respected my process.
So, I don’t know if you guys remember, but my old twitter @b3m wouldn’t let me see my follower requests in the end. So i got a new one.. @bb_bee and it was fine for a while, but now it seems to be doing the same thing and for the longest time i haven’t been able to see requests. So i’m leaving my Twitter public for this weekend so all of you that have tried can add me without the twitter bug and me not being able to see or respond to it..
Here are some wallpapers I promised i’d post. I counted and i have 203 more still, so they will all make their way up here eventually. First little batch is ones that i made. [ to avoid confusion, these are not intended for your personal theming or to edit and repost]. The second is ones that i found and just edited to my likings and to BB 480×360 dimensions.

The new version has a feature called “Direct access numbers.” This new feature changes how the Google Voice app makes phone calls and speeds things up. Google explains it as:
Until today, the Google Voice app had to make a request to the Google Voice server every time you wanted to make a call to send us the phone number you wanted to dial. Then the call would be connected via a Google Voice access number. With direct access numbers, we assign a unique phone number to every person you call. This means that we no longer need to use your data network to access the server each time you make a call, so calls will be placed much faster.
Nikolaus also noticed that the new version has homescreen notifications for unread messages. Not sure why Google didn’t mention that but this is the first I have seen mention of it.
You can download the update at m.google.com/voice from your BlackBerry Browser.
OTA Download:
This is exciting! Our CrackBerry Launcher application, built for us by Fabian Heuwieser (thanks Fabian!), has been updated to version 1.93 and is now available in BlackBerry App World! The CB Launcher app places a shortcut on your BlackBerry homescreen, which when clicked on opens a simple app that allows you to jump to specific areas of the m.crackberry.com mobile site.
A few changes had to be made to get the CB Launcher app into App World, like removing our CrackBerry App Store and Downloads links, but it’s still super cool to see it make it in there – be sure to give it a download and a nice 5 star rating and positive review and I’m sure we’ll see it introduce CrackBerry.com to a new audience of BlackBerry users who may not be as familar with CrackBerry Nation. The updated version also includes updates to keep things current, including links to our new BlackBerry 6, Bold 9650 and Pearl 3G forums.
Now that we’ve seen the CB Launcher hit App World, we have two goals left to tackle: get this baby featured on the App World featured apps carousel (let’s make it happen RIM!) and build out a more fully-featured and integrated application for getting CrackBerry on your BlackBerry. You’ll want to stay tuned for that!
So, I received my replacement device from T-Mobile yesterday with a NEW SIM card and it was amazingly, unbeliavably …. useless. It didn’t work, it remains on SOS regardless of what these “tech support” specialists do. I keep being told to wait, and wait, for what? Till they put a new tower up?.. IDK, but either way, after fighting with them on and off for two weeks I’m just going to cancel my plan and go with AT&T. I’ll give them a go, since my brother has an Iphone and no complaints in my area from him. I was thinking of going with the Iphone 4 since the Blackberry is not exciting anymore, to me, RIM needs to realize there are other screen sizes besides 480×360. I mean, that’s just lazy. The thing that used to be exciting about choosing a Blackberry is the different sizes, keypads, colors, etc… Now, they all look the same besides a two digit difference, they basically are the same model changed up a tiny bit and more memory added. Plus, they keep on releasing model after model within the same quarter. It’s lame, anything worth a damn is a work in progress not a re-build. The theme drama is another, people will always copy, which is a compliment i guess, but they make it not fun and kill it for everyone else. One thing is to ask to copy and use it as inspiration to make your own version, a whole completely different thing to dislike someone yet lurk and “borrow” elements from their blog.
Either way, that’s just a thought though, currently i do have a Blackberry and I will keep theming for it, since i will get bored from one theme only. =P
[ I'm still unsure about the Iphone, it's just a very tempting possibility...]
So, until I get T-Mobile to agree with MY terms and I move and open new lines (hopefully by this weekend) I won’t be able to release codes for anything. So please READ this and understand it. I won’t be sending previous codes anymore. I will re-upload some themes but from here on upload new and “re-vamped” ones. I have a couple new ones to release which will be once I’m up and running again.
Until then, i might upload a couple of the 200+ wallpapers I have! So keep a look out…
