There is an option to "Change from another device to a blackberry device". Have a look into that, maybe you can do it that way easier. That's how i got it when i passed from motorola Z6 to bb 8100, i had to send the contacts via bluetooth from the bb to the motorola, because I swapped phones. There are a large number of cellphones that have the option of sending contact list or address book via bluetooth. You should look into that for any results try sending contacts via bluetooth.
